Biographical Note
Priscian, a 5th-century Constantinople-based Latin grammarian, composed Institutiones grammaticae, an extensive work explaining Latin grammar through literary works. Livy was a first-century Roman historian who wrote a comprehensive history of Rome and the Roman people.
Scope and Content Note
The collection contains fragments from medieval manuscripts that focus heavily on the works of Priscian and Livy, as well as on classic Christian texts.
