Historical Note

Campaign buttons are a form of political advertising to support or oppose a candidate, political party, or issue.


Scope and Content Note

All but one of the campaign buttons in this collection focus on presidential candidates between 1964 and 1988. The exception is a button touting the Republican Party in 1964.
