Thomas Ethridge was a journalist for several Mississippi newspapers from the 1940's-1960's. His most popular newspaper article
was entitled "Mississippi Notebook." His sister Doris Currie-Ethridge was an aspiring poet and short story writer.
The personal correspondence, newspaper articles and scrapbooks of Thomas Ethridge, who wrote for several Mississippi newspapers,
and his sister Doris Currie-Ethridge. The majority of the correspondence is written by Doris Currie-Ethridge detailing her
inspirations, anxiety and career. The scrapbooks contain clippings of Ethridge's articles.
