- This collection is of material relates to the life and times of Daniel I. Sultan, of Oxford, Mississippi. It contains documents pertinent to his career in the army during the Second World War. The collection consists mainly of correspondence to and from General D.I. Sultan, with two boxes of photographs.

Scope and Content
Collection contains personal and professional correspondence and documents from throughout part of Dan I. Sultan’s time in the United States Army. The collection also contains photographs of the United States Army from various times and events during the Second World War.

In most instances boxes 1-4 are sorted in order of date from earliest to latest. Boxes 5-6 (CPB138-139) are not sorted in a specific order.
