Biographical Note
Mary Ellen Wilcox Larche attended Central High School in Jackson, Miss., in the early
1920s. As a high-school student, Larche was friends with fellow student Eudora Welty,
who later became a Pulitzer Prize-winning author.
Scope and Content Note
The collection contains loose materials and a scrapbook of memorabilia from Central
High School in Jackson, Miss., circa 1919-1925, kept by Mary Ellen Wilcox Larche.
