Scope and Content Note
Collection of two books from A. Johnston, burned in the 1942 fire at Phil Stone's Oxford home. They include: William Faulkner's The Hamlet and Algernon Charles Swinburne's Laus Veneris and other Poems. Both books are in fragile conditions due to the fire.
