Biographical Note

Jas Obrecht worked as a Senior Editor, assistant editor, associate editor, and photo editor of Guitar Player magazine at various times from 1978-1998. He still contributes articles to the magazine. He has taught writing at Washtenaw Community College and is the owner of Avabella Productions.


Scope and Content Note

71 audio cassettes featuring interviews Jas Obrecht conducted with blues musicians and three boxes of Obrecht's articles written from these interview tapes.
