Biographical Note

John Faulkner (1901-1963) was born in Ripley, Miss., and spent most of his life in Oxford, Miss. He authored nine works of fiction, including Men Working (1941), Dollar Cotton (1942), and Chooky (1950). He wrote My Brother Bill, a memoir about his brother, author William Faulkner, in 1963.
