Biographical Note

Jimmy Faulkner (1923-2001) was the son of John Faulkner and the nephew of author William Faulkner. Jimmy Faulkner was born in Oxford, Miss., and served as a Marine fighter pilot in World War II. He frequently gave talks and answered questions about the Faulkner family and participated in the Faulkner and Yoknapatawpha Conference at the University of Mississippi.
