My Role:

As the Digital Initiatives Librarian, I implement and manage digital projects within the library. I identify, ingest, and maintain digital resources in eGrove, the University of Mississippi’s digital archive and repository. I collaborate with individuals across the university to improve findability, accessibility, and reach of their scholarship.

Research Interests:

My research interests include born-digital archival preservation, biocodicology, and the digital humanities, particularly historical geospatial data and digital analyses of primary sources from the southern United States.

I serve as the first-tier contact for user-reported technical problems with library’s electronic resources, and I test existing products and electronic resources to assure access, functionality, and ADA-compliance. I make changes to existing library technical infrastructure to correct access for existing products and to establish trials for new resources. I collect and collate usage data from vendor platforms.
