I supervise the department responsible for acquiring all content purchased or subscribed by the library. We handle all formats and multiple acquisition methods: firm ordering, demand-driven, evidence-based, and subscription. I oversee renewals, payment processing, receiving and physical processing, licensing, discovery, access issues, collection budget projections, and collection management reports. I am also the subject specialist for philosophy and religion, and in that capacity I do collection development, information literacy instructions, outreach to that department, and special
