Historical Note

Rowan Oak was the family home of William Faulkner in Oxford, Mississippi. In 1972, Jill Faulkner Summers sold the home to
the University of Mississippi. The house is overseen by the University of Mississippi Museums.

Collection of correspondence related to Rowan Oak following its acquisition by the University of Mississippi. Primarily, the
