Abstract
The Pauline and Mary Goldmann Collection is made up of correspondence, research notes, biographical material, and various
articles. The letters between the Goldmanns and Stark Young make up the bulk of the collection and are almost entirely personal,
dating between 1911 and 1954.

Biographical Note

Pauline and Mary Goldmann were cousins of Stark Young and lived in Austin, Texas. Born in Como, Mississippi, Stark Young was
an American teacher, playwright, novelist, painter, literary critic and essayist.
