Scope and Contents Note
This collection consists of photocopied typescripts for Winne Freyer’s ongoing works, The VIP’s of Black Music
and the”Bluz Encyclopedia
, 3rd edition” (1986). The typescripts were produced while Freyer was living in East Germany, and it looks as if The VIP’s of Black Music
was to be published through a group called IC publishing and subsequently through the East-German music publisher “lied der zeit”; however, the text does not seem to have been formally published.
