Biographical Note
Sarah Doxey-Tate of Tupelo, Miss., is a retired teacher and school librarian.
Scope and Content Note
The collection contains two newspaper articles; an invitation to an event at the Arthur and Elizabeth Schlesinger Library
on the History of Women in America; a photocopy of an Address of Appreciation to the Colonial Dames at the Presentation of
the Monument in Memory of the Boys Who Lost Their Lives During the War, delivered at the University of Mississippi, 6 April
1922; an application for the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, filled out by Sarah Doxey-Tate;
and a photo of the Circle on the University of Mississippi campus.
