Classroom Policy
Two library classrooms (106D and 106E) provide space for students to learn about the research process through librarian-taught instruction sessions. The classrooms may also be used by official university-sponsored groups with a current UM employee present. Classrooms may be reserved for current faculty, staff, or university groups for any of the following reasons:
- Teach new skills or practice research skills
- Conduct student presentations
- Work on class projects
- Perform group work
- Lead a departmental meeting
Library instruction sessions take precedent when scheduling. Requests must be made one week in advance. Immediately examine the room upon arrival for any damage to the facilities or equipment; your department will be responsible for any repairs or missing equipment. Please turn out the lights, lock the doors, and return the classroom key to the West Circulation desk after use. Policies subject to change. Questions: asklib@olemiss.edu.
