About Archives & Special Collections

Located on the third floor of the J.D. Williams Library, the Department of Archives and Special Collections houses important collections of Mississippiana. The Department of Archives and Special Collections invites patron visits during our regular hours from 8:00 to 5:00, Monday through Friday, except during selected University holidays.

Directions

Enter the J.D. Williams Library from the West (fountain) side and come up the elevator or the stairs. Wind your way to the east side of the building, past the Writing Center and Administrative Suite. Archives and Special Collections is through the glass doors at the opposite end of the hall. 

If you enter from the East (Lyceum side) second floor, come up the stairs and find that Archives and Special Collections is through the glass doors on your left.
