About STUDIOone

A range of professional video recording and editing tools are available by appointment for Ole Miss students, faculty, and staff. To schedule a session, use the library’s calendar or email idealab@lib.olemiss.edu. Please allow at least one business day in advance.

Video Recording Studio

The Video Recording studio includes a camera, two RØDE podcasting microphones, RØDECaster Pro podcast production mixer, tripod, and blue/green screen capability. An SD card and reader are provided to record and transfer files. A PC desktop is also available for the transfer and upload of video files.

Video Editing Suite

The Video Editing Suite offers hardware and software for quality video projects, including Two Yeti microphones, headphones, and a 24-inch iMac with OSX Sequoia and a PC Desktop, both with access to the full Adobe Creative Cloud library.

STUDIOone Policy

Ensure a smooth experience by reading the STUDIOone policy before reserving a room.

  1. Return the SD card and reader at the end of your appointment.
  2. Reserve the video production or editing room for up to 120 minutes daily in 30-minute increments.
  3. Rooms are held for 15 minutes after your scheduled time; check in at the IDEAlab on the first floor of the library.
  4. STUDIOone is locked at all times. A staff member will verify the room condition before and after use. The user is responsible for any damage.
  5. No equipment modifications, software downloads, or camera adjustments without staff permission.
  6. Only University of Mississippi affiliates (with ID) can use STUDIOone.
  7. Equipment is for non-commercial use only.
